The crew turns up. That is the whole promise.
Otium Talent is a licensed Ontario temporary help agency supplying warehouse, logistics and light industrial crews across the GTA. You deal with the person accountable for the placement, not an account manager three desks away.

What you actually get
A shortlist you can act on, workers whose right to work has been checked and recorded before they set foot on your floor, and one number to call when something goes wrong at 6am.
Checked, recorded,
and watched
Every worker's entitlement to work in Canada is verified and recorded before they are placed, and we track the expiry dates so a permit never lapses on your floor. If your auditor asks, we can put it in writing the same day.
We never ask a worker for a SIN to prove eligibility, and we never send one to a client. An agency that is loose about that is a liability sitting on your site.
Answered,
not queued
One number, and the person on the end of it can make a decision. No ticket, no escalation path, no being the small account at a big agency.
If we cannot cover a shift, you hear it early enough to do something about it. A late honest answer beats an optimistic one every time.
Invoices
you can read
Billed by position, with regular, overtime, night premium and holiday hours set out separately. Nothing lumped together, nothing you have to query.
Ask how a rate is built and we will show you. Agencies that will not usually have a reason.
The paperwork
stays ours
We are the employer of record. Payroll, source deductions, WSIB coverage, T4s and Records of Employment are ours to run and ours to get right.
You keep your health and safety duties as the site occupier — no agency can take those — but the employment administration is off your desk.
Where we place people
General labour first, because that is where we are strongest and where being wrong costs a client the most.
General labour
Yard work, sorting, cleaning and the jobs that keep a site moving when you are short-handed.
Warehouse & fulfilment
Pickers, packers, shippers and receivers for distribution centres and third-party logistics.
Forklift & material handling
Counterbalance, reach and walkie operators with current certification on file, checked before placement.
Loading & unloading
Container crews and dock labour for sites where a truck waiting is money burning.
Light industrial
Assembly, machine operation and line work in manufacturing and food processing environments.
Skilled trades
Trade-qualified and trade-adjacent hands for maintenance, fabrication and install work.
Construction support
Labourers and site help for builders needing hands rather than licensed trades.
Office & administrative
Reception, coordination and data work for the desk side of an industrial operation.
From your call
to their first shift
Four steps, and you know where you stand after the first one.
You call
The role, the shift, the site, the start date. Ten minutes usually. We tell you on that call whether we can help.
We shortlist
People we have spoken to, documents on file, matched to your shift pattern and how far they can realistically travel.
They start
Briefed on where to go, what to bring, what to wear and who to ask for. Nobody arrives at your gate confused.
One invoice
Weekly, by position, hours broken out. Approve it against your own gate records in a couple of minutes.
What is inside
an hourly rate
We quote one hourly bill rate per position. Most agencies will not tell you what is in it. Here is what is in ours.
No sign-up fee. No minimum hours. No charge for a shortlist, and no fee if you decide not to proceed.
WSIB at your class,
not an average
A temporary help agency is rated on the work its people actually do. An agency that averages one rate across every client is charging a food plant for the risk profile of a construction site — or quietly under-collecting and carrying the exposure itself.
We set the WSIB rate against your industry class, so the number on your invoice reflects your operation rather than somebody else's.
Permanent hires
are a conversation
If somebody works out and you want to keep them, talk to us about it rather than around us. We would rather agree something sensible than lose a client over a good outcome.
Ask for a rate on your roleThe part that becomes
your problem if it is wrong
Since 2024, Ontario requires temporary help agencies to be licensed, and a business that uses an unlicensed agency is exposed alongside it. Worth checking about anyone you use, including us.
Licensed, and happy to prove it
We hold an Ontario Temporary Help Agency licence. Ask and we will send the details in writing, with our WSIB clearance certificate, before you place a single worker.
Documents held properly
Identity and work authorisation are collected after an offer, stored securely, and shared with a client only with the worker's written consent — recorded, and limited to what that client actually needs.
Expiry dates watched
Work permits expire. We track the dates and act on them before they lapse, so you are never in the position of having had someone on your floor who should not have been.
WSIB coverage is ours
We are the employer of record and carry WSIB coverage on every worker we place. Your duties as the site occupier remain yours — any agency saying otherwise is selling you something that does not exist.
Across the GTA,
from Vaughan
Close enough to the sites we serve that a person can be on your floor rather than on a call. If your site is outside these areas, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can staff it well.
Our home. Concord, Woodbridge and Maple are a short run from the office, and most of our crews live within twenty minutes of them.
BramptonHeavy distribution and food processing along Steeles and Airport Road. Early starts are the norm and our people know it.
MississaugaAirport-corridor fulfilment and third-party logistics, where volume swings week to week and a shortlist that arrives late is no use at all.
EtobicokeManufacturing and warehousing along the 427. Transit-accessible sites matter here, and we match for that rather than hoping.
North YorkSmaller industrial units and light assembly, where one absent picker is a quarter of the shift gone.
ConcordDense warehousing right on our doorstep, and the area we can staff fastest at short notice.
Treated like a person,
paid like clockwork
The application takes about two minutes, and we do not ask for documents until there is an actual offer on the table.
- Paid weekly, on time, with a payslip you can read
- Told the address, the shift and who to ask for before you go
- Your documents held securely, never shared without your say-so
- Never charged a fee to find work — that is illegal in Ontario
Tell us what you need staffed
A short conversation is enough to know whether we can help. If we cannot, we will say so rather than waste a week of yours.
